Problem
While Bohol is a stunning destination with a rich array of natural attractions, tourists may find it challenging to fully appreciate and explore the diverse experiences the island has to offer. Without a unifying concept or engaging incentive, visitors might miss out on some of the island's hidden gems, resulting in a less immersive and fulfilling adventure.
Solution
To enhance the tourist experience in Bohol, the "Bohol: Wander the Wonders" brand identity was created, along with a product design that unites the island's attractions under a cohesive theme of adventure. This concept introduces a badge-earning system where visitors collect unique badges as they explore different locations, similar to old-fashioned Boy Scout or Quest club patches. Each badge represents the completion of an adventure, encouraging tourists to discover more of Bohol’s wonders while adding an element of excitement and reward to their journey.
Takeaway
"Bohol: Wander the Wonders" transforms a visit to Bohol into a more engaging and rewarding experience by gamifying exploration and encouraging visitors to uncover the full breadth of the island's attractions. This approach not only promotes tourism but also deepens the connection between visitors and the destination, making their adventure in Bohol more memorable and satisfying. By integrating a fun, collectible aspect into the exploration, this brand identity plan inspires tourists to fully immerse themselves in the wonders of "God’s Little Paradise."
